Regarding the entry earlier today....
I have been doing a lot of thinking, about my future, and about the present, and that is why I have decided that I'm leaving ASMS next week. Simply put, I don't think I can take much more of this place. I believe that if in the end it will all be the same (I'm gonna do AmeriCorps for a year or two, then go to college), then why should I voluntarily spend time in a place where I'm miserable and depressed, if in the end it'll all be the same? I should also mention that leaving ASMS was probably inevitable, seeing as how my grades are hideously upsetting. It's just that I'm leaving sort of preemptively because I am so sick of this place.

ASMS had been great for a large bulk of the 2 and a half years that I was here, however, I never did truly care for the academics here, which is why I have been so lazy in my time here.

Goodbye to all my wonderful friends, who are what has made ASMS bearable for 2 and a half years.

I desperately need a break.

I know we never really talk, but still sucks to see you go. Good luck and have a better time wherever you end up though.

Wow, and you're a senior. I don't have the balls to tell my mother I don't want to be here anymore. Though I wanted to leave the instant after first term. I admire your ability to follow your heart and you will be missed.

Ok that aside, I don't blame you. This place sucks. I wish you well, because that's really all I can do.

omfg. ::tearz:: i am utterly shocked. i am glad to see (or read) that you are happy about your decision. You will definitly have to come visit us at UA next year. or we will come see you ;) remember if u ever get bored, i'm in Selma.haha.

even though we really didnt talk much, i am still going to be sad that you are leaving. you really were a cool person! hope you enjoy bein out of jail and when u get a chance.....rescue us! hee hee j/k!

I cna't try to persuade you to stay. I know I coudl have never endured 3 years at ASMS, being there didn't even help me get into college. It was a stressful waste *hugs* I hope you enjoy hte Americorps, and you shoudl plan to see me and my boyfriend soon.

ASMS is not a comforting place for open-minded, queer youth. You'll soon find that college isn't either.
